Serving the people of Orange County as an 18-year veteran of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Ann Cho has prosecuted serious and violent offenses including robbery, attempted murder, sexual assault, and complex fraud. She has established a distinguished career dedicated to upholding the ideals of fairness and integrity, while striving to promote public safety and a commitment to justice for all. Ann Cho will bring these same values to serving the people of Orange County in the position of Superior Court Judge.

Ann is a career trial attorney with experience in the courtroom and a deep understanding and respect for the rule of law and the fair administration of justice.
• Deputy District Attorney for 18-years within the Orange County District Attorney’s office
• Ann has completed over 70 jury trials and has prosecuted cases encompassing:
– Carjacking
– Robbery
– Attempted Murder
– Child Molestation
– Rape
– Child Pornography
– Domestic Violence
– Crimes against Peace Officers
– Extortion
– Tax and Insurance Fraud
– Embezzlement
• Ann has successfully prosecuted “life” cases for the most violent offenders resulting in sentences after conviction ranging from 50 to 400 years to life.
• Highlights of Ann’s service in the Orange County District Attorney’s office includes:
– 7 years as a Sexual Assault Trial Prosecutor
– 2 years as a Trial Attorney in the Special Prosecutions Unit (High-profile, media-sensitive caseload)
– Currently serving as a Prosecutor in the Major Fraud Unit (Complex fraud including tax fraud, insurance fraud, and embezzlement schemes with multi-million-dollar losses)
Ann volunteers and serves her community outside of the District Attorney’s Office.

Ann was raised in Orange County and graduated from Fountain Valley High School. After attending college and law school in Northern California, she returned to her home in Orange County to establish her career and raise her family in the community that she serves. Wife and mother of two young daughters, Ann is an avid runner and loves to be outdoors riding bikes or playing at the beach or a local playground with her family.
Ann’s history and strong work ethic provide the knowledge, experience and commitment necessary to make fair decisions with empathy, and common sense. As a judge, she will treat each case according to its merits and apply the law fairly and objectively without bias. She has worked closely with people involved in all aspects of the judicial system and will use that insight to treat each person who enters her courtroom with professionalism and respect.
